Dhanotsav-2001Dhanotsav 2001- an exhibition on banking, finance and insurance held at the Institute of Engineers, Khairathabad, brought the banking and other financial companies under one roof. Banks and companies related with insurance, mutual funds and real estate took part in the three day exhibition inaugurated by Road and Transport Minister Mr K Vijayarama Rao and attended by Union Minister for Urban Development Mr Bandaru Dattatreya. The three day exhibition has highlighted the activities and services of the banks, financial institutions and insurance companies.

We organised this festival Dhanotsav -2001 to make the relationship between the customer and the firms more effective," said Ramji R of Strategic Newspapers which hosted the exhibition.

Andhra Bank Housing FinanceBanks like Andhra Bank, State Bank of India, Centurion Bank, ICICI Bank, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Industrial Development Bank of India and insurance companies like Oriental Insurance Company Ltd, The New India Insurance Company Ltd- India's largest non-life insurance company, National Insurance Company Limited took part in the exhibition. The personnel from these organisations were quite busy telling the people about their services and facilities. Some banks like SBI sanctioned the loan on the spot after verifying the documents of the loan seekers.

Ashoka Builders-The top builders of HyderabadThey also provided information about the home loans, educational loans, car loans, two wheeler finances etc. HDFC Bank which is fast expanding across India has a car loan scheme for salaried and self employed individuals, partnership firms and public and Pvt Ltd companies. Anybody who's looking for their dream car and the loan to acquire it, can walk right into HDFC Bank. "HDFC bank finances most passenger cars and multi utility vehicles manufactured by Indias' leading automobile companies. The minimum loan amount is up to Rs 1 lakh. But if you so desire, you can borrow upto 90 percent of the invoice value" says KV Satish Kumar of Forefront Finanz, a direct marketing associate of HDFC Bank. For two wheelers, Tata Finance, a NBFC has a scheme where it provides finance for a vehicle costing upto Rs 37000. Initial payment of this scheme is 3700."For availing Tata Finance Services, you need to submit proof of income, residence and bank statement of your salary. People with a minimum salary of Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000 can utilise this scheme," says Rajesh an executive from Tata Finance.

Building a rapport - Standard Chartered BankMany housing finance corporations like Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd, HUDCO, Sundaram Home Finance Ltd, LIC Housing Finance Ltd are offering loans to the people who want to have a home of their own. These companies participated in the exhibition and explained about the rules and regulations pertaining to the housing loans. Apart from these, mutual fund companies like Sundaram Mutual Fund, Escorts Mutual Fund and construction companies like Ashoka Builders and Jaya Bharathi Constructions Pvt Ltd which is coming up with a mega township at Kukatpally also took part in the exhibition.
