He was responsible for bringing the entire Telugu film world to Hyderabad from its earlier base in Chennai. The first Telugu film star to settle down in Hyderabad, he inspired many more to follow suit. His Annapurna Studios, named after his wife, has been one of the earliest film studios to cater to the needs of the film industry

Beautifully landscaped outdoors, eight floors, ready-made sets, thematic locations and a seven acre outdoor set are available for film shooting.
