the famous forts of India. Administrative seat of the most powerful
Golconda kingdom in the Deccan. Originally constructed on a
hill by the Kakatiya Kings of Warangal in the 12th century.
Later the Qutub Shahi kings developed the fort and made it their
capital in 16th century. Famous for its indigenous system of
acoustics and palaces. |
